OSHKOSH, Wis. (CNN) — The Blue Angels touched down at the EAA AirVenture show Wednesday in Oshkosh.
Spectators gathered to watch the Blue Angels practice ahead of their main show on Friday.
More than 100 U.S. Navy and Marine Corps members make up the Blue Angels team.
“We tend to fly pretty close together in a very precise manner and then the solos, Number 5 and 6, will be showcasing the max performance of the F18. And then towards the end of the show we’ll all get together – all six of us – and we’ll showcase again that precision but also that broader teamwork,” said Commander Ryan Bernacchi.
The air show runs through Sunday.
