BRUNSWICK (WGME) — The Blue Angels practiced for about an hour and a half Friday afternoon. They went through all of the demonstrations they will be doing this weekend to make sure they’re ready to go for the big show.
All of the practice runs have gone smoothly and that’s really important because safety for everyone in the air and on the ground is a top priority.
In some instances, the jets are 18 inches apart wing-tip to wing-tip and though many of the pilots have done it hundreds of times they practice before every show to make sure they’re ready.
Volunteers have also been working to prepare the area for about 80,000 people that will be making their way to Brunswick this weekend. Volunteers finished up with the set up on Friday.
Tickets for this weekend are still available. They’re $25 if you buy online or $30 at the door. Doors open Saturday at 8 a.m.
