The Blue Angels will touch down in Idaho Falls on Friday.

The United States Navy’s demonstration squadron will hold a news conference and flyover to help promote this summer’s Extreme Blue Thunder Air Show in Idaho Falls. The promotional event previously was scheduled for January but was pushed back by weather.

According to a release from I.E. Productions, Lt. Brandon Hempler and Lt. Dave Steppe of the Blue Angels will fly over the city at approximately noon. They will then land at the Idaho Falls Regional Airport and join city, airport and air show officials for a news conference at 12:30 p.m. at Aero Mark Inc., where the July 22-23 Extreme Blue Thunder air show will take place.
