Terre Haute, Ind (WIBQ) – The summer of 2018 will see the return of an air show to the Terre HauteRegionalAirport.
The show that is set for August 18th and 19th has will see a major headline act.
The U.S. Navy Flight Squadron, the “Blue Angels”, has released their two year schedule and the Terre Haute Air Show is on that list.
The Blue Angels are scheduled to perform 63 demonstrations at 33 locations in 2017 and 63 demonstrations at 33 locations in 2018, including Terre Haute.
The first Terre Haute Air Show was held on 2002 and featured the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and saw nearly 50,000 people attend.
For various reasons the attendance at subsequent shows declined leading to the cancellation of future shows.
It is hopped that this show will bring some much needed positive attention to the WabashValley.
