How you can see the Blue Angels Sept. 16

Blue Angels in Pensacola Beach.

The Blue Angels have scheduled a flyover in honor of five service members killed in July 16 attacks in Chattanooga.

Chattanooga Unite’s Tribute on the River,
planned for Sept. 16, will include a flyover by the Navy Flight
Demonstration Team. The Blue Angels are slated for a 4:30 p.m. EST (3:30
CST) flyover at Ross’s Landing located across from the Tennessee
Aquarium.
The flyover is part of a day of events planned to honor the four
Marines and Navy sailor who were killed by a gunman. The day will begin
with an armed forces parade at 2 p.m. EST with a memorial service
planned for the parade’s end. The ceremony will be hosted by Chattanooga
native Samuel L. Jackson.
Harry Connick Jr. will perform at 4:45 p.m. EST followed by country
music artist Brantley Gilbert. The night will conclude with fireworks.
In lieu of ticket fees, donations are encouraged through collection
bins placed throughout the event. Funds collected will benefit The
National Compassion Fund.  Online donations can be made directly at www.chattanoogaunite.org.
