The Blue Angels are back!
Luke Air Force Base is opening to the public for its Luke Days air show, now set for March 2018.
The Air Force base announced Tuesday the show was rescheduled to March 17 and 18, in “order to ensure the public a more robust and dynamic experience,” according to a news release.
The U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels are now headlining the show. It will be the Blue Angels’ first return to the show since 1992.
Tuesday’s announcement was a big update to the event. When the show was first announced, the Thunderbirds were listed as the headlining group. They are now not listed to appear at Luke Days 2018.
On March 17 and 18, the public can see the base and meet with airmen. You can learn about science, technology, engineering and mathematical career fields and see aircraft in interactive experiences.
The air show is free to the public. Read more at the Luke Days website.
