Cinderella would have a good angle to see the Blue Angels on Thursday. The U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron — commonly called the Blue Angels — plan to conduct a flyover of Magic Kingdom on March 19.The Blue Angels will fly the squadron’s six-jet F/A-18 Hornet Delta Formation two times above the theme park, with Cinderella Castle as a focal point. The event is part of an internal team photo shoot for the squadron.
The Magic Kingdom flyovers will be visible to the general public. They are scheduled to take place between 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.
The flight path will take the jets above the Arnold Palmer Invitational, held at Bay Hill Club and Lodge. The will be visible to the public there too. The Blue Angels will be headed to the Melbourne Air and Space Show, where they will be performing at the Melbourne International Airport on March 21-22.
