Before watching the Blue Angels perform daring stunts over the water at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, people will have the chance to meet them in person.

The Blue Angels will be visiting Veterans Memorial High School on March 31, a day before the 2017 Wings Over South Texas air show.

Visitors can learn more about what to expect during the two-day air show, which attracts thousands of people to the Coastal Bend every year.

Residents will be able to mingle with the Blue Angels and other groups and performers, including the U.S. Army Golden Knights, the U.S. Air Force F-16 Viper Team, Rob Holland, Paul Fiala, Randy Ball and Prowlers of the Pacific.
