All of Americas armed forces will be represented in some capacity at this weekend’s Super Bowl, but it’s the Navy and California Air National Guard that will have some of the highest visibility roles during the big game.

To kick off festivities, the US Navy’s Blue Angels will streak over Levi’s Stadium during the pre-game flyover in their traditional six-plane delta formation, Air Force Times reports. But after the formation flying, the only thing in the sky for a 32-mile radius around the stadium will be aircraft from the California Air National Guard.

It’s not clear how many F-15s will be covering the Super Bowl, but we’d expect at least a flight of four to be on hand. The twin-engine fighters have been working alongside two Cessnas from the Civil Air Patrol to practice intercepting and escorting unidentified aircraft away from the 70,000-plus people in attendance at Levi’s Stadium. And while we sincerely hope they won’t be needed, it’s a safe bet that however many F-15s are in the skies, they’ll all be very heavily armed.
