OC Air Show announces line-up for Saturday show

Highlighted by the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels, the Ocean City Air Show returns to the beach this summer for two days in June.
air show is scheduled for June 13 and 14, and the schedule of flight
sequence for Saturday was released Friday. Following the national
anthem, the sequence is as follows, starting at noon:

•L-39 Cold War Era Jet Demo
•B-25 Mitchell “Panchito” WWII Bomber
•Brietling Jet Team
•John Klatt
•Lucas Oil Jump Team
•P-51 Mustang Demo
•USAF F-22 Raptor Demo
•USAF Heritage Flight
•USCG Search and Rescue Demo
•Mike Wiskus in the Lucas Oil Pitts
•Fat Albert
•U.S. Navy Blue Angels
With the show starting at noon, it is expected to conclude after the Blue Angles take to the air around 3 p.m.
The center of the show is located at 16th St. and the boardwalk.
avoid crowds, viewers can purchase tickets to watch from the Drop Zone
at the center of the show. Tickets bought in-advance online are $22 and
allows viewers to watch from the aerial show’s own 50-yard-line with an
up-close view of the drop teams.
Viewers can also purchase food, beer and wine inside the Drop Zone. The number of tickets available is limited.
Sunday sequence schedule will be released after air show coordinators
plan with performers and their departure from Ocean City.
The air
show kicks off on Friday at Cowboy Coast Saloon in Ocean City at a Jack
Daniels Fire sponsored “Take Off Party.” The event is free, open to the
public and will feature music and a chance to meet the pilots, jumpers
and flight crews.
