East Tennessee gears up for the Smoky Mountain Air Show
ALCOA (WATE) – The Smoky Mountain Air Show is Saturday and Sunday at the McGhee Tyson Air Base in Alcoa.
General admission to the air show is free, although you may have to
pay for a parking pass. Make sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket and
check our list of prohibited items before heading to the show.

Whether your vehicle holds one person or 15, you only need to
purchase one parking pass per vehicle. There are three different lots
for air show parking.
The Accessible Parking Lot is located near the Blue Lot and is a
paved area. This lot will offer fully-accessible shuttles to the air
show site. In order to park in this designated lot, you must present an
accessible parking pass and your vehicle must display an official,
current Disabled Person License Plate and/or Placard. Parking passes in
this lot are limited and are available on a first come, first served

Saturday and Sunday April 16-17, 2016
- 8:00am : Parking Areas Open
- 10:00am : Gates Open
- 10:00am – 5:00pm : Static Displays, Vendors, Exhibits, Kids Area and Music Stage
- 11:00am – 12:00pm : Opening Ceremonies
- 12:00pm – 4:00pm : Aerial Performances
- 6:00pm : Gates Close
