Perfect weather brought out more than a million people this weekend to view the perfect precision of the Navy’s Blue Angels.
Perfect weather brought out huge, festive crowds this weekend as some one million people packed San Francisco on Saturday alone to take in Fleet Week activities, capped by the precision performance of the Blue Angels aerobatic team.
Fleet Week highlights included the Parade of Ships arriving under the Golden Gate Bridge on Friday, followed by ship tours. A festival on Marina Green demonstrated the military’s humanitarian efforts. But it was the 3-day air show that had the crowds looking up in awe.
The air show included the Navy Leap Frogs Parachute Team, vintage aircraft, and a Coast Guard rescue demonstration. And finally, the main draw–the Blue Angels.
