HAVELOCK, N.C. (WNCT) – With the countdown to the largest air show in
the East ticking away, work is already underway for preparations.
The 2016 air show will feature the U.S. Navy Blue Angels flight team
and the show will also celebrate the 75th anniversary of Marine Corps
Air Station Cherry Point.
One pilot for the Blue Angels says he encourages everyone to come see the way they operate and strive for.
“With precision, with excellence, and also to give somebody something to shoot for,” said Lt. Tyler Davies.
The air show won’t be until the end of April, but is open and free to the public .
