BLUE ANGELS AIRCRAFT

AT LEAST THE TYPES THEY FLEW
(MAY OR MAY NOT BE ACTUAL ORIGINAL BA AIRCRAFT)
These old Blue Angel Aircraft are now found all over the country. Many of these are found in museums, which as you probably know, could use our support not only by visiting them, but by helping fund their work in restoring and maintaining these historical aircraft and other memorabilia. (For example, it costs about $6,500 just to paint one of these planes back into Blue Angel colors.) Most of the man-hours are volunteered. Here are some for which we know the location.

1968 the Blue Angels carefully evaluated several aircraft to replace the F11 Grumman Tiger. Grumman Aircraft Corp sent models of 6 F14 Tomcats to the Blues.

Dave Tipps of American Flight Visions with some computer magic gave us a look at what might have been.
