Blue Angels are back… here’s everything you need to know about this weekend’s air show

After several years without a show, Lemoore Naval Air Station is gearing up to bring back the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.

What’s that in the sky… you’re not seeing things, it’s a Blue Angel.

After several years without a show, Lemoore Naval Air Station is gearing up to bring back the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels.

The show is set to begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with the Blue Angels taking flight around 2:30 p.m. each day.

This year is the team’s 73rd anniversary and marks the Blue Angels’ 33rd year flying the Boeing F/A-18 Hornet.

Since 1946, the Blue Angels have performed for nearly 500 million fans, according to the Navy’s website.

Visitors from across the state are expected to attend this weekend’s shows.

“While the great flying weather in Lemoore plays a crucial role in the training we conduct, it is the outstanding support of our Lemoore community that is the real key to our continued success,” Navy officials stated. “It is your patriotic support, patient understanding, and hospitality that enable us to ‘train like we fight.'”

General admission tickets are free.

For those looking for an upgraded experience, Flight Line Club tickets are $135 for adults and $85 for children. Assigned seating can be purchased for $30.
