OCEAN CITY, Md.- Fathers were out and about in Ocean City on Sunday to celebrate their big day.
Many dads saying there was no better way than seeing planes take flight, performing extreme, but spectacular formations.
That includes Rob Mapp, from Baltimore, who attended Sunday’s show with his wife, son and daughter.
“Perfect, couldn’t get any better,” he said.
Organizers with the show say this weekend was a complete success. The weather was good, and they predict more than 300,000 people attended Saturday.
“This is definitely on par with what we saw in 2017, which in our 10th anniversary, that was previously our best–we’re right there with it,” he said.
Sunday’s flights included performances from the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, which made their first appearance in the airshow, including the F-16 Viper and the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.
