From The HB Hair Show: More than 560,000 people took to Huntington Beach for the inaugural Breitling Huntington Beach Airshow last year, taking home memories of a patriotic display of aviation excellence. This year’s show, headlined by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the Royal Canadian Air Force’s Canadian Snowbirds, will take place September 29, 30 and Oct 1, and airshow fans don’t have to wait until September to get their souvenir shirts. This year’s souvenir shirts will be on sale beginning Saturday, July 1 at the Huntington Surf & Sport Main Street and HSS/Billabong stores.
Designed by Huntington Surf & Sport, the 2017 souvenir shirts are available in two designs, and black or white. Also available for sale will be souvenir hats. The shirts retail for $23.99 and the hats are $21.99.
The Breitling Huntington Beach Airshow is free to the public and will feature jaw-dropping jet stunts from the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the Royal Canadian Air Force’s Canadian Snowbirds. Other performers include Texas native and Breitling Aerobatic Pilot David Martin, an F-16 Viper demonstration, Lucas Oil Aerobatics’ Mike Wiskus, Suzuki’s Elias Corey, and an F-35A Lightning II.
For those interested in a premium viewing experience, Aviator Beach Club tickets can also be purchased for $139 for Friday’s show and $199 per person per day for the Saturday and Sunday shows. Tickets can be purchased at www.hbairshow.com
Net proceeds from the Airshow will go to support the Aerospace Education Foundation of Huntington Beach, a nonprofit that encourages education and careers in the aerospace and aviation fields.
